Rae Sremmurd – Chanel ft. Pharrell

The duo of Atlanta, Rae Sremmurd, composed of the Brown brothers, Khalif «Swae Lee» and Aaquil «Slim Jxmmi» officially announced at the end of Januarythe news that ‘Sremmlife 3’ would be release in the form of a triple disc. With departure date and tracklist still unconfirmed, ‘T’d Up’ was the second single released by the duo.

True to their word, at the end of February Rae Sremmurd presented three advances of ‘SremmLife 3’. United flowed on a hit of Three 6 Mafia on ‘Powerglide’, and thenSlim Jxmmi shares ‘Brxnks Truck’ solo. Being an LP that will contain a triple disc, this cut will belong to the project of Slim solo, ‘Jxmtroduction’.

It is a fact, the Sremm Season has begun. After announcing an agreement with ESPN, the pair of brothers announced a few days ago the release of three new cuts extracted from ‘SremmLife 3’. This time, Slim Jxmmi teams up with Swae Lee and Pharrell on “Chanel” off his solo project Jixmtroduction. The fashion-inspired anthem finds the brothers spoiling their ladies with high-end designer goods.

Titled “Chanel,” the track is set to appear on Slim Jxmmi’s solo disc, though it features appearances from his brother Swae Lee and Pharrell. The song follows Jxmmi’s solo single “Brxnks Truck”.

There is no official release date, but that does not mean we can not feel how the Sremm Season is approaching. After the advances ‘Powerglide’ or ‘Hurt To Look’, the pair continues releasing advances of its project of three disks, being now the turn of ‘Chanel’. In this musical production of 30 Roc have the vocal collaboration of Pharrell. This Friday we could enjoy his visual accompaniment.

“Chanel” was premiered today through Beats 1 Radio. In conversation with Zane Lowe, Jxmmi confirmed that the forthcoming SR3MM will feature appearances from Young Thug, the Weeknd and Zoë Kravitz.

Uncle Jxm and Swae Lee inject their trademark swag, while Jxmmi supplies the irresistible hook: “Take her to Chanel ’cause she fine.” Skateboard P comes through with a high-pitched, Mickey Mouse-inspired flow, and shouts out Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
